My name is Natsuko and I live in New York City. This is a website to showcase and promote works I've been creating over the past couple of years. 

The name "SuReneDame" is the combination of several words; "Surreal", "Sublime" and "Serene" which I think describe the general mood and feel of my work. The meaning of the word "Dame" (elegant/noble women, goddess or a slang meaning women) embodies the essence of the Dames I draw as they can be anything they choose to be. I hope that you leave this site with the light my girls exude from within.

All the image showcased on this site were created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. My drawing tool was a mouse and I occasionally combined scanned images such as Japanese rice papers, fabrics and photographs for inspiration. 

I hope you enjoy consuming these works as much as I enjoyed creating them.
